So the spring has sprung and the designers seem to agree, having showcased their Spring/Summer 2016 collections.
There are trends a plenty to satisfy any bride.
The 2 Piece
It’s here to stay ladies, so if you are daring enough start getting those abs ready. What surprised me about this trend was the feminine offering some designers had. Here are some of the best 2 pieces.
The Necklines
Whichever way you look at it the necklines for SS16 are extreme. Whether you favour the high necklines of Oscar de la Renta or the daring, plunging designs of Reem Arma this is a trend with the flair for the dramatic.
The Fabric
Sheers play a big part in the SS16 collections. The catwalk had so many interpretations of how these sheer fabrics could be used. Lace also played a big part, with laces being layered in many instances.
Off the Shoulder
This is such an elegant neckline that is is lovely to see it as a trend for SS16.
Colour
Gone are the restrictions on colour to white and ivories. Designers brought in blushes, golds and oysters.
Bows
There is something so feminine about a bow and who doesn’t love a bit of detailing. Of course a Vera Wang bow belt would be the best!
